| We’re big fans of both Eric Cressey and Mike Robertson. Both are very successful strength and conditioning coaches, who between them have helped many athletes and clients reach the highest level of performance and get into the greatest shapes of their lives. One of the very reasons we chose to sell this DVD is down to just how good Eric and Mike are at what they do.
Magnificent Mobility marks a revolution in the way athletes prepare for competition, training and rehabilitation.
Magnificent Mobility is a collection of drills designed to increase your mobility, correct muscle imbalances, improve joint mobility and prevent injuries. It can be used as an excellent warm-up / warm-down routine for any type of workout, or in some cases can be used as the actual workout.
Old-school methods of preparation, such as light cardio and static stretching, are things of the past. These inefficient and ineffective traditionalist approaches simply won’t prepare you for superior performance and they might even injure you! Not to mention, they are boring...
In this information-packed DVD, Eric Cressey and Mike Robertson give you all the tools necessary to teach your body to move more safely, efficiently, and powerfully. With over 30 exercises and the rationale for their use included, Magnificent Mobility is guaranteed to provide drills to get you healthy and take your performance to the next level!
The DVD starts off with Eric and Mike explaining the purpose of a warm-up and why traditional warm-ups fail to meet said purpose. For those who already know the reasons, it’s a good reminder, and for some of you it may be a shock. Static stretching before a workout can actually limit strength and endurance?? What? Yep, that’s right.
The drills mostly focus on the hips and shoulders (these are the common problem areas) and are divided into Easy, Medium, and Difficult categories. Each drill is shown with full range of motion from two camera angles, clear and concise audio descriptions of how to perform the drill and why, and finishes off with key coaching tips to remember.
While most of the DVD focuses on dynamic stretching, the final section discusses some static stretches. Nothing ground breaking, but for those familiar with Crossfit, you’ll be happy to know the Samson stretch is included!
The DVD is HIGHLY recommended for anyone who wants to increase their mobility, correct muscle imbalances and prevent injuries. That means everyone!

“With Magnificent Mobility, Eric Cressey and Mike Robertson have introduced a fantastic product that addresses a pressing need in the strength and conditioning community. Insufficient mobility is a huge problem I encounter with athletes in several sports at all levels. A lack of mobility will not only limit performance and make training sessions less productive, but it will also dramatically increase one’s risk of injury. If you want to train and compete at high levels and stay healthy, Magnificent Mobility needs to be in your library.”

“Magnificent Mobility just may be the most practical DVD available at the present time. I say this because EVERYONE can benefit from the information that it contains. I have all of my athletes perform many of the drills outlined in this video before they workut so they're properly warmed up - yet it can also act as an entire workout for the "Average Joe" who sits behind a computer all day and is suffering from low-back & shoulder pain. The possibilities are endless with this DVD. I even learned a couple of new exercises that I perform every morning and they help me get out of some back pain. Bottom line...Get this DVD! It's worth every penny!"
