Hey Guys - Just wanted to say congrats on the recent development of the Novus bar. We label reading fanatics often struggle to find supplement bars that:
- Are Low in sugar
- Contain a high amount of QUALITY protein
- Have workable calories for those trying to cut weight
- Still manage to taste great!
The Novus bar has managed to check all those boxes, and at a fair price as well.
From a mobile guy who understands the value of a portable "snack", many thanks for another supplement that not only packs a respectable nutrition label, but one that I can look forward to consuming as well!

When I saw that the Novus bars were low in fat, almost no sugar, and packed with 36 grams of protein I was not sure how they would taste. Let me say that these have to be hands down the best protein bar that I have ever had. The mint cookie flavor literally tastes like a desert and leaves you wanting more!

I just received my order of Novus protein bars from AtLargeNutrition. I knew AtLarge had been working on these for quite a while, so I was anxious to try them out. Knowing that they only put out the best tasting, highest quality products, I had a feeling I wouldn't be disappointed.
Let me tell you..... these bars taste great.
I had them send me a few of each flavor, mint and cookie dough. The mint reminds me of a York Peppermint Patty, with less of that "cold" feeling you get with the patties. The cookie dough is just as good, with a mild cookie dough taste. I'm not sure which flavor I like best, they both are soft, smooth tasting and packed with 36 grams of a blend of proteins.
The bars I had did not last me long, I found my self eating them often. They are very convenient and work great when I don't have food here, or when I don't have time to cook, or go out to eat. I saved the mint ones for before bed with a glass of milk.
Thanks again AtLarge for putting out supplements that work and supplements I don't have to worry about in regards to whether or not they really have what the label claims.

AtLarge, you guys have done it again... this time with protein bars. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical at the thought of a protein bar after sampling some of the popular bars on the market. Most of the bars that are appealing to the taste buds at all are glorified candy bars, and those with decent macronutrients taste like biting into the block of chalk in my gym bag. But, as a loyal AtLarge customer, I had to give them a shot.
You guys have found the perfect medium. The Mint Cookie flavor reminds me of biting into a York peppermint patty. It has a nice, soft consistency to it and is a protein bar I actually enjoy eating. The macronutrients are superior to any other bar as well.
I am not a HUGE protein bar guy, but these are amazing. They are perfect for emergencies when I don't have any food on me. I will be keeping a few in my backpack for in between classes and a few stashed at work as well.

I ordered the Novus bar just to eat when I was in a hurry or on the road. I got the cookie dough because on not big on chocolate mint (although I will have to try it). When they first arrived I quit mowing the lawn and had to try it. The taste was awesome, not chaulky like most of the other bars I have tried. My wife eats raw cookie dough all the time so I made her eat a bite of mine and she even thought it was great.
Now instead of just eating one on the run I eat one as a snack everyday. Quick easy and a great taste as always from ALN. Thanks AtLarge for another great product. How about a peanut butter, chocolate flavor?

I recently had a chance to try out your new NOVUS protein bars in both the mint chocolate and cookie dough flavors. I had been looking forward to trying them out for quite some time and overall it was well worth the wait. I would like to note that I am not a huge fan of protein bars as most of the bars I have tried over the years have been quite hard to stomach. However, your Novus bars completely blew me away. Not only are the Novus bars loaded with a whopping 36 grams of protein with a minimal amount of carbs and fat, but the taste is excellent. The cookie dough flavored bars have an excellent mild cookie dough taste and the mint chocolate flavored bars tastes like a cross between a thin mint cookie and a York Peppermint Patty. The taste and texture of both bars is excellent as both flavors come through just enough to satisfy the taste buds without overwhelming them or leaving any after-taste, and both bars have a consistency that is soft, smooth, light and airy. Although both bars taste great and are easy to eat, my favorite of the two would have to be the mint chocolate flavor.
I just wanted to say that you guy’s have out done yourselves again! You’ve done an excellent job with the Novus bars. Novus is one of the most convenient, portable, tasty, nutritious, and guilt-free meal options for when I am on the go. Thanks again for creating another high quality product!

I have been using AtLarge's Chocolate and Vanilla Nitrean two to three times a day for over two years. Nitrean is, by far, the best tasting protein on the market. Because I have enjoyed so much success with Nitrean, I had to try the new Novus Protein Bars. I just received my order of 8 Mint Cookie and 8 Cookie Dough Novus bars, so I figured I would report.
The Mint Cookie Novus bar has a smooth mint flavor that is not too sweet, and doesn't overwhelm the tastebuds. The Cookie Dough bars taste great, and are very easy to eat. The taste on both flavors is not overwhelming and is not extremely sweet like the majority of the protein bars I have eaten. I will continue to use the Novus Bar as part of my daily pre-training nutrition diet. Great Job ALN.

I faithfully use ALN's products, and have done for years now. I got a box of the Mint Cookie flavor and I think they are great. They remind me of the thin mints cookies without the crunch!

I have been a customer with you all for a few years now and have never been dissatisfied with any product I have used (Nitrean, Opticen, ETS, RESULTS, Fish Oil, Multi, Creatine 500). I have come to expect no less than the best from you guys and you unfailingly deliver.
As is commonplace in today's society we are all on the run and seem to have less and less time to get in our basic necessities, such as daily caloric intake. In the past I brought a baggie full of Nitrean for a snack in between classes, but sometimes that just didn't curb my hunger. I sought refuge in the proverbial "protein bar". At the cost of over eating my daily carb limit I began eating some "other" bars. They indeed had a decent amount of protein but were always chalky and full of carbs and sugar that I just couldn’t afford. On top of that I had to force feed them down because despite the advertised flavor they inevitably tasted similar to cardboard.
Then you guys decided to release the Novus protein bar. First and foremost, these bars fit into my diet with no fuss at all. The low sugars and carbs made for a guilt free treat that made my diet much easier to deal with. Finally, after searching the extension of the Internet for a low carb protein bar they appeared before my eyes at atlargenutrition.com. Additionally, the flavors they come in are second to no candy bar. The "mint cookie" is my favorite, especially after being cooled in the refrigerator. The are distinctly familiar to girl scout thin mint cookies... except they last much longer than a single cookie and have a great deal of nutritional value.
Lastly, the addition of these bars has made ALN a one-stop shop for my nutritional needs. No more piecing together raw supplements and bars from various vendors to get my needs met. All of this combined with ALN's outstanding customer service makes me feel lucky to have found such a great company and has turned me into an ALN customer for life!

I just consumed my first NOVUS bar. It's tasty, smooth and appealing. Plus those 36g of protein with minimal carbs and very little fat. This will be staple in my nutrition plan from now on. Other bars with as large or larger amounts of protein have upset my stomach. Not NOVUS. Thanks for making it available.

I lifted at Donnie Thompson's meet this past weekend and in the goody bags there was one of your new NOVUS bars and I thought well here's another bar that is going to taste like all the rest of the bars out there,but when I bit into it it was the greatest bar I have ever tasted and I have tried most of them on the market.So don't change a thing about them because the mint chocolate is the greatest bar I have ever tried bar none.

Right now I'm in An Nasiriyah, Iraq on deployment. I like the Novus bar first and foremost because of the nutrition in it. I take bars out on missions to eat instead of MREs because the new MREs have 3,000+ calories with only the very basic nutrients. 36g of protein is a lot for only 6g of fat; the other bars out there have a high amount of fat and also of sugar. Sugar is dangerous over here, not enough is bad but too much is also bad in the heat. Eating a bar while out on mission with 30 or 40g of sugar is a no go.
I also like Novus because they taste great. Mint cookie is awesome; it tastes like those mint Girl Scout cookies. Cookie dough also tastes good, although not my favorite of the two. Eating either flavor isn't a chore; definitely nowhere near holding my nose to wolf down a can of tuna. I'm probably going to order some more pretty soon as my two boxes are almost gone. I grab 1-3 a day depending on how long we're going to be outside the wire for. Keep up the good work guys.
