  • Results Solubility Issues and Expected Availability  Date: Wednesday 20 January, 2010
    Results
    You may remember that we recently had some shelf life issues with Results related to heat/moisture. As soon as we realized this, we heavily discounted Results to clear through the stock as quickly as possible.

    Whilst this was happening, we were in discussions with the same supplier to make several changes (both to the formula and packaging) to a new batch which would address the heat/moisture related issues.

    We sold out of the shelf life related batch of Results just before Christmas and received the new batch on Jan 4th 2010 and immediately made it available for purchase again.

    Unfortunately we were quickly made aware that the batch had solubility issues when mixing with water. After some thorough testing, it quickly became obvious that the changes that were made to the new batch of Results had solved the heat/moisture issue but in turn caused a knock on adverse effect on the solubility.

    As soon as we found out about the solubility issue, we removed the product from the site which is why it is no longer available at the moment.

    What if I bought Results between the period of Jan 4th and Jan 14th 2010?

    If you have purchased Results between the period of Jan 4th and Jan 14th 2010 you will most likely be experiencing solubility issues when mixing with water.

    We have emailed every customer affected offering either a replacement when we receive stock of a new batch (see below for more details) or a full refund.

    When will Results become available again

    We have since been working with a new supplier who is in the process of working on a new batch of Results which we are confident will meet the quality standards we expect for all of our products. We are expecting it to be available very early in March 2010.

    Not only that, but it will be available in a new, much more desirable flavour - Tropical Fruit Punch. It will also have an improved formula. We have decided to reduce the dextrose from 80g to 50g as many of our customers felt that 80g was over the top. After some thorough research we feel that 50 grams dextrose is just as effective and this means there will be less carbohydrates/sugar per serving.

    Overall, the above situations have been very frustrating and disappointing for us. We work hard to create very effective products and settle for nothing less than the highest quality ingredients at proven doses.

    We apologize if you have been affected by the above situations and also for the period that Results is not available and we'll keep you up to date with how the new batch is coming along and when it will become available.
