Dear Chris, Daniel, and everyone at At-Large Nutrition
I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how much I appreciate your protein powder as well as your customer service.
About a year ago I was stuck in a situation not too uncommon among people who lift weights and try to eat healthy. I was using a pretty popular whey protein powder as a meal replacement and also for my post-training nutrition source. The problem with this powder was not necessarily that it was not effective, but that I was basically standing over my kitchen sink when I would drink it in case I had to gag! Of course I was the type of person who would force down this nasty tasting drink because I (falsely) assumed that protein powders just didn’t taste good, but I still wanted to get in a quick meal with a lot of protein.
Not only was the taste getting annoying but the frustration with mixing my protein powder was also getting to me, as it seemed to get the dreaded “protein clumps” every time I tried to use anything other than a blender.
I was complaining on an online discussion forum about the taste and the clumps in my protein powder and a number of people suggested I give Nitrean a try. I was skeptical to be honest, but I decided I didn’t have anything to lose.
When my package from UPS arrived I immediately popped open the jug of chocolate Nitrean and mixed it in some water with nothing more than a plastic cup and a spoon. To my surprise there were zero clumps! At this point I figured At-Large had been able to make a protein powder which didn’t clump, but there probably was no way it would actually taste decent. I was dead wrong! I was very, very surprised at how absolutely delicious Nitrean tasted, even in water! I’m not talking about “it’s okay, and I can deal with it” taste, but I’m actually talking about “this stuff tastes good!”
And this is where it gets even more interesting. I had somewhat considered myself fairly knowledgeable about supplements but I really did not know much about protein blends versus whey or casein only proteins. Within a little over one month of switching exclusively to Nitrean for all protein supplementation, I noticed a dramatic difference in how my body was looking. I was very surprised that my physique responded so positively to just a change in protein powders, but I sure as heck was not complaining!
In addition to the fact that I am very happy with Nitrean, I am also very impressed with and grateful to At-Large for their amazing customer service. Every time I have a question, no matter how small, you guys always respond quickly and with a personal touch that is very genuine and sincere. I’ve even received emails from Chris just asking how my training is going, looking for updates on my personal goals and achievements, with real interest and care about how I am doing. I really, really appreciate this.
So, thank you At-Large for all you do. You certainly have a long-time customer with me, and I will continue to recommend Nitrean to anyone who complains about gagging up nasty protein powders with clumps in them!
