Chip Edalgo is a seasoned veteran of both bodybuilding and powerlifting. He has the rare combination of shape, symmetry, and raw power to be successful in both arenas.

Chip’s initial foray into the competitive arena was in bodybuilding. During his competitive bodybuilding days Chip won his weight class several times and four overall titles. Here are just a few of his bodybuilding accomplishments:

Mr. Atlanta Mr. South Atlantic Mr. Central Georgia Middleweight title in the Mr. Georgia contest. The call of the iron was too strong for Chip and he eventually converted to powerlifting. Chip has been a successful powerlifter with an emphasis on the bench press. Some of his accomplishments competitively include the following:

1. Winner of the 1998 WPA Worlds in the 198 lb class
2. Winner of the 2002 RPF Worlds in the 242 lb class
3. Chip has done a 601 lb bench press in competition.
